Beverly Sue Nielsen Hill, 71, of Austin, Texas, passed away on February 13, 2015. Beverly was born March 11, 1943 in Austin, Texas to Fred Nielsen and Gladys Fields Nielsen. Memorial services will be held on Thursday, February 19, 2015 at 10am at Cook-Walden Funeral Home, 6100 North Lamar, Austin, TX.
Beverly was a loving and selfless mother to Shannon Hill, Shane Hill (Rachael Hill), and Shelby Hill (Scott Gillaspia, fiance). She was a devoted and nurturing grandmother to Shonlee Mayhall (Chris), Shea, Shon and Shaina Niswanger, Shane Hill II, Addison Hill, and Zane and Caden Gillaspia. She was the best great-grandmother to Abigail and Austin Mayhall.
Beverly was a giving, thoughtful, and caring lady. All the good ones have many nicknames - BB, Beeb and, she loved a recent one, QUEEN B! She appreciated everyone that considered her "mom." Beverly was there for anyone who needed her and was a Mom to all. Bev enjoyed socializing with old and new friends and family, bingo, and traveling with her friends and family. Beeb had a love/hate relationship with the University of Texas Longhorns and the Dallas Cowboys. She eventually grew to even love the Texas A&M Aggies!
There will only be one BB. She will be greatly missed by all of us.
