Mona Lynn Craft, age 49, a native of Orange, Tx and a resident of Oretta, La., died Monday, March 15, 2010, at her residence in Oretta, La. She was a Pentecostal By Faith. Mona will forever be remembered as a strong and loyal lady that loved her family very much. She was the "mother hen", always putting them first and doing her best to be a great mother, wife and daughter in law. She loved sewing, working in her garden, scrap booking and along with her husband, cooking for friends and family gatherings. She recently started fishing and caught a 5 lb bass. She was a beloved wife, mother and sister and will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her and each life that she touched in her own special way.
She was the daughter of the late Herman Coleman and the late Joyce (Rainwater) Coleman.
She is survived by her husband of 28 years - Dwayne L. Craft of Oretta, La.
One Daughter, Daughter-Magen L. Craft of Oretta, La.
One Sister, Sister-Gina Buxton and her husband Donald of Dequincy, La.
One Brother, Brother-Ricky Coleman of Bancroft, La.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her son - D.J. Craft.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at Christensen Funeral Home. Visitation will resume from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM Thursday, March 18, 2010 at First United Pentecostal Church of Dequincy, La. Funeral service will be at First United Pentecostal Church at 2:00 PM Thursday, March 18, 2010 with the Rev. Wayne Cardwell and the Rev. Ken Hooper officiating.
Interment will be at Oretta Cemetery in Oretta, La.
