Mrs. Edna Virginia Varner Terrell, age 80, widow of the late Alfred Terrell of Walnut Cove, passed away on Wednesday, February 24, 2010 at Rex Hospital in Raleigh, NC. Mrs. Terrell was born in Stokes County on March 14, 1929 to the late Peter and Hessie Shelton Varner. Mrs. Terrell worked as a homemaker and was of the Primitive Baptist Faith. Mrs. Terrell is survived by one son and his wife, Joe and Lisa Terrell; one sister, Annie Gunter; and two grandchildren, Olivia and Natalie Terrell. Mrs. Terrell was preceded in death by her husband; parents; one daughter, Annette Terrell; and three sisters. Interment was in the Northview Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
