Mrs. William Ritter, longtime resident of Olmsted County, died yesterday of old age and complications at her home 1305 3rd ave NW. She was 94 years old and had been ill about 5 years. The former Bertha Marie Bobzin, she was born in Statein Germany. She came to the US at the age of 13 years and settled in Chicago. She married April 29, 1976, to Mr. Ritter who died 28 years ago. The family came from Chicago in 1880 and settled on a farm at Oronoco. They moved to Rochester from there 32 years ago. Survivors are their daughters, Mrs. Ida Krause and Mrs. William Wenzel of Rochester and Bertha Rucker of Oronoco and William Ritter of Oronoco, six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. W.W. Elfert at 2 pm Wednesday in the Ranfranz and Son funeral home and 2:15 pm in the Trinity Lutheran church of Rochester. Burial will be in the Oronoco cemetery. Pallbearers will be Quintin Rucker, Merrell Rucker, Gerald Tiedemann, John Haggerty, Roger Larson and Leonard Rabehl.
