Mr. May, 71, died Aug. 28, 2003, at VA Medical Center in Jackson.
He was a retired off shore worker and an Air Force veteran of the Korean Conflict.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Verden Ernest May and Vera Lea Goins May; and a sister, Margie Williams.
Survivors are his sister, Joyce Tarver of Vidalia, La.; his niece, Cheryl Martin of Jackson; and his nephews and their wives, David and Betty Tarver of Vidalia, Mike Tarver of Natchez, Randy and Brandy Tarver of VanCleve, and Cam Miller of Jackson.
Pallbearers will be the great nephews.
