She was born in San Marcos Texas in 1899 she had 7 brothers and sisters.Her bith name is Nellie but she went by Nell ,She moved to San Antonio where she married Lenard P Gardner and had 1 child Betty Nell Gardner Davenport. She was known to all her grandchilderen as Mammy.Mammy had 3 grandchilderen , Linda Joy Davenport Williams,William (Bill) Robert Davenport and GLenda Joyce Davenport Arnold .Mammy lived to be 96 yrs old she was able to see and know her grandchilderen and her great grandchilderen, Wayne willard WeaverIII (Tray),Barbara LynetteWeaver (Barbie),Rudolpho David (Dave)Guerrero, Joshua R Arnold,Kimberly N Arnold , Leah M Davenport, And Also her first great great grandchild Jonathon R Suniga,
After her death she had other Greatgrandchilderen born - Ethan Everret Guerrero,Kellie Ryann Guerrero and David Isiaha Guerrero. She played the piano for church and the silent movies and even for dance recitals, she was a nurse for a time.When she was in her 70's she and Great grandchilderen David and Barbie would walk and collect money for the March of Dimes they also sold lightbulbs for the blind and took books and magazines and greeting cards. She is dearly loved and missed.Every year on her familys birthdays she would call them on the phone and play happy birthday on the piano. Little things like this are so dearly missed.
