He married Ida Mae Bell Ellis-Falls on February 20, 1900 in Van Buren, Arkansas, Crawford County. He died on January 24, 1950 in Fort Smith, Arkansas, Sebastian County. He was survived by his sons, Jessie Emmett Eacret, Bennie Clifford Eacret, Willie Cecil Eacret and Floyd Leon Eacret, two daughters Retha Kathryn Eacret-Tate and Effie Mary Magline Eacret-Hillstead. He was preceded in death by his wife; Ida Mae Bell Ellis-Falls and a son Samuel Evert Eacret and one daughter Myrtie Caldonia "Callie" Eacret-Tate
