Eldon Earl Linaweaver, eight year old son of Mr and Mrs Walter Linaweaver of Lansing, died at Cushing Memorial hospital at 2 o'clock yesterday morning. Ill for the past month, he had been at the hospital three weeks.
Born in Jefferson County May 9, 1934, Eldon had attended the Lansing grade school, being in the third grade. He was a member of the Lansing Baptist church Sunday school.
Other than his parents, Eldon leaves his maternal grandmother Mrs Sophia Laster of McLouth: paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Claude B Linaweaver and paternal Great-grandparents, Mr and Mrs W.J. Linaweaver, all of rural route two, Leavenworth, near Fairmount.
Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 2 o'clock at the Lansing Baptist Church, the Rev. Homer Brown officiating. Burial will be in Mount Muncie cemetery.
The body will remain at the Sexton funeral chapel until taken to church.
