Miss Stewart was a retired advertising executive and a member of St. Matthews Episcopal Church at Dallas, Texas.
Miss Mary Stewart graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas State College for Women in 1938. Her graduating class was the largest in the history of T.S.C.W. in 1938 with over 300 girls graduating. Miss Stewart majored in journalism and minored in English. She was awarded honored by Theta Sigma Phi for outstanding journalism during her senior year. Miss Mary Stewart attended the University of Texas where she received her Master's Degree. She was the youngest child of her family.
Survived by three nieces; two sisters-in-law.
