She loved the fact that she went on a hot air balloon ride for her 80th birthday. Her faith was a very important part of her life and she worshiped at St John's Catholic Church in Waunakee. Survivors include six children, Jane (Joe) Kuehn, Diane (Gene) Griffith, Doris (Steve) Kalscheur, Edna (Al) Wrchota, Richard (Jeannie) and Paul (Robin); 15 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; a sister, Alice Pulvermacher and sister-in-law, Armella Meffert; and many nieces and nephews. Burial took place in the church cemetery "A mother is a blessing so gentle, kind and wise, the first to give encouragement, the last to criticize. The one you know will be there whenever skies are gray, The first to lend a helping hand, the last to turn away-each special thing about her, is so lovely to recall- a mother is a blessing, the most precious one of all. In her cheeks, fair roses you see; God made a wonderful mother; and He gave that mother to me." The family would like to thank Creekwood Assisted Living for the wonderful care provided to their Mother. Winn-Cress Funeral Home assisted with arrangements.
