SERVICES HELD FOR RETIRED MINISTER

Funeral services for John H. Bunnell, 71, retired Pentecostal Holiness evangelist and minister were conducted from the Pentecostal Holiness Church Friday afternoon with Rev. J. R. McBride, pastor of the local church officiating. Music was furnished by the church choir.
Rev. Bunnell was a native of Cincinnati, AR, born Oct. 9, 1889. He was the son of David and Laura Bunnell.
He had been ill for many years but his death was unexpected at the time. He had been a resident of Westville for many years.
Burial was in the Foreman Cemetery west of town with Roberts Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers were Frank Moss, Wayne Lyons, Calvin Phillips, Clarence Dilling, Will Sheppard and Hayden Colvin.
Flower girls were: Judy Woods, Diane Roberts, Paula Hart, Linda Morris, Betty Wilkie and Linda Whitmire.
Survivors include the widow, Elsie of the home; daughter Mrs. Pauline Picone of Mountain View, CA; one step-son Watie Akin of Old Town, Maine; 5 brothers, Granger and Clem Bunnell of Cincinnati, Frank of Tulsa, Clarence of Los Angeles, CA and Jim of Honolulu, HI, 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
