Mrs Harriet E. Schaup Bretz, widow of Earl Bretz, died at 6:25 pm Monday in her home at 94 Railroad street. She had been in failing health since last Christmas and her death is attributed to a cerebral hemorrhage. Mrs. Bretz was a native and life-long resident of Tiffin and was a daughter of Mr and Mrs John Schaup. Surviving are a daughter, Mildred, of Louisville, Ky, and one sister, Mrs Edna Cramer, of this city. Mrs Bretz's husband died 13 years ago, and a brother and sister are also deceased. Funeral services are to be held in the Ray C. Myers funeral home at 1:30 pm Friday and will be conducted by the Rev. F.R. Casselman, pastor of Trinity Evangelical and Reformed church, of which Mrs Bretz was a member throughout her life. Burial will be made in Greenlawn cemetery.
