MRS. WILEY M. PULLEN

Mrs. Sarah E. Pullen, prominent & respected resident of Kosciusko died April 2 at her home, 509 Fairground Street, in the city after a lingering illness. Her death while not unexpected, was a shock to her loved ones.

The deceased was a member of the Oak Ridge Primitive Baptist Church, & was active in church Asocial circles as long as her health permitted.

Funeral services were held at the First Baptist Church April 3, conducted by Rev. W.M. Scott, assisted by Rev. Rowe C. Holcomb, pastor. Interment followed in the city cemetery, Lee Funeral Home in charge.

Pallbearers were; S.A.Jackson, L.D. Jordan, Hugh D. Campbell, J.D. King, Irby Guice & Sam Moss.

Besides her husband; Wiley M. Pullen, she leaves the following survivors to mourn her loss; Mrs. M.D. Thomason Birmingham, Mrs. T.M. Brown & Mrs. T.A. McLeord, Montgomery, Ala., Mrs. C.D, Melcher, Abbeville; 2 sons, H.C. Pullen, Moss Point, Paul Pullen, Pascagoula; 3 sisters, Mrs. J.A. Pullen, Mrs. J.W. Milner, & Mrs. A.M. Peeler; 2 brothers, T.J. Brunt & Otis Brunt.
