Archer was a native of Skiatook, Okla., and a resident of Citronelle. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of World War II.
Survivors include one son, Timothy Archer of George West, Texas; one daughter, Linda Touchet of Citronelle; one brother, Jack Archer of Kingsman, Kan.; two sisters, Betty Krause of Pampa, Texas, and Jeri Culberson of Sugar Land, Texas; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral at Citronelle United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Methodist Cemetery in Citronelle.
Arrangements are being made by Freeman Funeral Home in Citronelle.
