B. F. Kizer, Sr., Rites Set Funeral services for B. F. Kizer, Sr, 83, who died at his home, 1024 Scovel Street, at noon yesterday, will be conducted at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon by the Rev. Bunyan Smith.
The services will be held at the home of his son, B. F. Kizer, Jr, 1026 Scovel Street. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.Mr. Kizer, who had been in failing health for five years, was born near Gallatin and was educated in the public schools there. For nearly 60 years before his retirement five years ago, he was in the general contracting business here.
He was a member of the Church of Christ and the Redman Lodge of the Osceola Tribe No. 41 and a former member of the Woodmen of the World.
He is survived by sons, Woodrow W. Kizer, Oakland, Calif, William T. Kizer, Nashville, and Benjamin Franklin Jr; daughters, Mrs. L. M. Osborne, Nashville, and Mrs. L. L. White, Philadelphia, Penn; a sister, Mrs. Sally Kirk, Gallatin; a brother M. L. Kizer, Nashville, and six grandchildren.
