Brenda Gail Comer Marple, age 54 of LaFollette, passed away April 6 at the Baptist Hospital in Knoxville. She was of the Baptist faith. She was a good mother and grandmother. She loved dancing and was a doll collector. She had a big collection of dolls.
She is survived by her children, James Marple of Strawberry Plains, Jeffrey Marple of LaFollette, Dustin and Rachel Comer of Seymour; father, George B. Comer of Clinton; mother, Edith Comer of LaFollette; grandchildren, Paige, Jasmine, and Cody Marple all of Sevierville; brother, Gary Comer of LaFollette; sisters, Debra Bolton of LaFollette, Valerie Fateley and Patricia Proffitt both of Clinton; special friend, Betty Wier; many special friends and extended family; several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were April 9 in the Martin Wilson Chapel with Rev. LeRoy Braden and Rev. Ronald Reagan officiating. Interment was in the Woodlawn Cemetery.
