Howard N. Fulk, 76, of Southport, FL, formerly of Ingraham, IL died at 12:00 PM (noon) Saturday, March 20, 2010 at Bay Medical Center in Panama City, FL.

He was born December 29, 1933 in Clay County, IL to Chester & Nola (Galloway) Fulk. He married Ruth Blair on July 24, 1954 in Bible Grove, IL.

He was a teacher for 38 years at Thornton Twsp High School District #205 in Harvey, IL. Howard enjoyed hunting, woodworking, shooting sports, and was a member of Amateur Trapshooters Association and National Sporting Clays Association.

He is survived by his wife: Ruth Fulk of Southport, FL; children: Sandra Master & husband John of Southport, FL, and Chester Fulk of Southport, FL; 3 grandchildren: Rachael, Amber & Stephen; 1 great-grandchild: Alexis; sister: Mary Herra & husband Richard of Elburn; and brother: Glenn Fulk & wife Marge of Robinson.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A graveside service will be held at 2 PM Thursday (March 25, 2010) at Headyville (McQueen) Cemetery in rural Jasper County, IL. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Wednesday at Frank & Bright Funeral Home.
