Stephen Gauss from the Harriman Family Association has clarified the birth date for John Harriman and his siblings: "In 1652 they were using the Julian calendar, so the first month was March, not January. Using a number for the month (Quaker style) can be very confusing. ..." Since this record has the words "third moneth," it would be May instead of March.
