Allen, Lawrence "L.D." , 96 of Tulsa passed from this life on December 13, 2004 in Tulsa.He was born to George Evans and Hattie Jane (Bolton) Allen near Jacksonville, Texas on September 30, 1908. L.D. married Sadie Mae Simms on December 24, 1933 in Dallas, Texas and were happily married for 53 years before she preceded him death. He worked at Texaco Oil Co. before retiring and at the time of his death L.D. was the oldest Texaco retiree in Oklahoma. Sadie and Lawrence were interior designers over 40 years and owners of Allen's Draperies. He was a member of Sheridan Christian Center. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 15, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. in the Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel. Floral Haven 252-2518
