Miss Allen was first married to a Mr. J. Fred Baker, a merchant, on January 23, 1889 here in Gardner. They were wed by Hubbardston, Massachusetts Congregational minister George F. Clark. This union ended in divorce.

On the 2nd of January 1896, in Gardner, Nellie became the wife of Mr. Elmer E. Eddy who was a bookkeeper at the time. Clergyman Frank E. Ramsdell solemnized the union.

Mrs. Eddy passed away at 51 Richmond Street.
