Raymond C. "Poot" Bossung, 89, of Calusa Harbour, Fort Myers, FL, died at 6:20 AM Wednesday, Nov. 30, 1994, in Calusa Harbour Health Care Center, Fort Myers. He was born Nov 14, 1905, in Chalmers, and was raised in Lafayette. His marriage was Aug. 5, 1933, in Lafayette, to Mary C. Hartnett; she died Aug. 23, 1978.

Mr. Bossung was a West Lafayette fireman, retiring in 1966. He moved to Fort Myers in 1979. He was a member of the Conservation Club, Elks Lodge, and the AARP.

Surviving is a sister, Marie Bush of Lafayette. He was preceded in death by five sisters and one brother.
