Sarah "Kathy" Lush, 47, of Clifton, passed away Sunday, March 21, 2010, in Clifton, Texas. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, at Lawson Funeral Home Chapel in Meridian, with burial in Fulton Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, at the funeral home.
Sarah Katherine was born in Houston, Texas, to the late Vernon Waye and Hala Joyce (Powers) Wellborn. Her family moved to Walnut Springs when Kathy was very young, where she was raised and educated. On Feb. 24, 1995, she was united in marriage to Jimmy H. Lush in Clifton, Texas. Kathy worked as a Certified Nurses Aide in Glen Rose, Meridian and Clifton nuring homes and care centers. She was a Baptist.
Survivors include her husband, Jimmy H. Lush, of Clifton; sons, Todd Lush, of Weatherford, and James C. Lush, of Gatesville; two grandchildren; three brothers; a special mother-in-law and father-in-law, Betty and Don Barron, of Clifton; and many other relatives and friends.
