Mrs. Kate H. Trimble, 84, died Tuesday night at 10:35 o'clock in the King's Daughters' Hospital following an illness of six weeks.

Born in Augusta County on February 6, 1871, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Sarah Jane Clemmer. She spent most of her life around Swoope, having lived her later years with her son on Paige Street. In 1892 she married Robert Lee Trimble, who preceded her in death in 1932; also two sons, Howard Trimble and Elwood Trimble preceded her in death. She was a member of Hebron Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are six sons, Elmer Trimble and Homer Trimble of California, Charlie Trimble, Livionia, Mich., Robert Trimble, Covington, Fred Trimble and Harry Trimble of Staunton; one brother, Emmett Clemmer, Raphine; also five grandchildren, five great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be conducted Friday morning in Hebron Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery.
