The body of Waynesboro's first Korean casualty comes home to rest Tuesday night.
The funeral will be held from the Grove Funeral Home at 2 o,clock Thursday in charge of Dr. George L. Detweiler.
The body accompanied by a military escort will arrive in Greencastle at 6:15 pm. The flag draped casket will rest at the funeral home with a guard of honor in attendance.
Sgt. Naugle was one of five brothers in the military services, three of them in Korea. One brother, Cpl. Charles P. Naugle is still in Korea.
Another brother, wounded in battling the Communistic forces, Cpl. Lester Ivan Naugle, returned home from Korea Saturday night and is now stationed at Ft. Belvoir, Va. He will be home for his brother's funeral.
Two other brothers, S. Sgt. Arthur P. Naugle, Andrews Field, Washington, and Pfc. Richard, with the Air Force at Lake Geneva, N.Y., will be home.
Other survivors are the father, Edward H. Naugle, Waynesboro, brother Harvey F. Naugle and sister Emma L. Naugle at home, and a brother Earl C. Naugle, Middletown, Md.
The body of Sgt. Walter E. Naugle, 36, a veteran of 14 years service with the famed 25th Tropical Lightning Division will be re-interred in the family plot in Green Hill Cemetery.
