William Joel Blair, Jr. (known as W.J or Dub) in Gatesville, Texas. He was the oldest of 5 children born to William Joel Blair Sr. and Leila Belle Scott. He was a photographer and business man. He married Mary Eva Busby in 1903 in Gatesville. They had one child. The family moved to San Antonio, Texas about 1909 where he was he manager of a plant that made bricks.
