Kay Peurifoy was a real estate agent and had been an elementary school teacher. She was a founding member of the Franklin and Greenwood chapters of the American Business Women's Association and was a 4-H leader. She was a graduate of Austin College and received a master's degree from Indiana University.
She was followed in death by her husband the Rev. Jim Crocker. She was preceded in death by her parents and a daugher Kaylynn (1971).
Her children which survive are Clay, Kurt, Cory, Webster, Cody, Robert Crocker, Cameron Castro; 24 grandchildren.
