Leatrice Bollman Sharp passed away July 27, 1996 in Praire du Chein Hosptial, Praire du Chein, Wisconsin from Cancer. Leatrice was the daughter of Ira and Edna (Perkins) Bollman and was born and raised on the family farm on Hickory Creek in rural Luana, Iowa.
Leatrice was an avid fisher and loved the Mississippi where she worked in the fish market in Marquette for many years. She married Gearld Sharp and he passed away in 1972 only 1 short year of marriage. Leatrice remained in Praire du Chein to be close to the river and the wildlife.
Funeral services were held July 29, 1996 at Schultz's funeral home in Monona with Rev. Bruce Hanson officating. She was laid to rest at Smithfield cemetary beside her parents and husband and not far from her brother Donald and nephew and niece Gary Lee Bollman and Sandra Bolllman. She was also preceded in death by her sister Helen Price and her husband Buster.
Surviving Leatrice are her 4 brothers, Clyde, Avery, Leo and Evertt and their wives. Many neices and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Her sister in law Gladys Bolllman.
Leatrice was a great woman her strentgh guided us all and will never be forgotten. She lives in each one of us who still mourn her passing.
