Funeral services for Dave White, 58, who was shot and killed Wednesday, were held Thursday from the Charles H. Bailey residence in Hammond. Interment was at Oak Grove cemetery; Thomas Funeral Home was in charge.
He is survived by his wife of a second marriage; two daughters, Amy Joy and Ida of this marriage; three daughters and two sons by his former marriage: Mrs. Earl (Mildred) Edwards, Mrs. Jesse J. Jones, Miss Hazel White, Wilton Bailey White and Wilbur White, all of Hammond; four sisters, Mrs. S. D. Ochsner of Robert, Mrs. Chas. H. Bailey, Mrs. John Bailey of Hammond and Mrs. Anthony Wattingny of Ponchatoula; two brothers, Ab and Lee White of Hammond.
