Funeral services were held for Marjorie Bollman Tuesday, June 3, 1997 , 11:00 am at the Forest Mills Methodist Church rural Postville. Rev. Steve Campbell officiated. Organist was Marge Ewing and soloist was Lanny Marting. Pallbearers were Jerry Bollman,Clark Bollman, Scott Bollman, Larry Bollman, Dennis Bollman, Jeff Lange and Steve Lange. Burial was in the Smithfield Cemetary, rural Monona. Schultz's funeral home was in charge of arrangements.
Marjorie Ann Bollman daughter of Kenneth and Marion (Owen) Lange was born February 8, 1926 in Monona, Iowa. She graduated from Luana High School in 1943.
Marjorie was united in marriage to Leo Bollman on September 3, 1947 at her parent's farm. Marge was a member of the Monona Library Board, worked with the MFL Lunch program, and taught Sunday School for 14 years.
Marge died Saturday May 31, 1997 in Vetran's Memorial Hosptial in Waukon.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Sister in laws, Leatrice Sharp and Helen Price. Brother in law Donald Bollman. A nephew Gary Bollman and a niece Sandra Bollman.
Surviors include her husdband Leo, Two sons, Daniel Bollman and his wife Carolyn of North Pole Alaska, Roger and his wife Dorene of LeClaire, Iowa. One daughter Brenda Bostrom of Rochester Minnesota. Two grandchildren: Erin Bolllman and Alex Bostrom. Two Brothers, Bennett lange and LeAllen Lange.Two sisters Peggy Rothmeyer and Diane Ellis.
