A graveside service will be at noon Monday, Sept. 29, 1997, in Redland Pioneer Cemetery for Charlotte Amelia Nelson, who died Sept. 23 at age 90. A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Zoar Lutheran Church in Canby.
Mrs. Nelson was born Feb. 20, 1907, in Redland. Her maiden name was Lossner. A homemaker, she also worked for the Oregon City T.B. Association. Her first husband, Andrew Balfour, died in the mid-1940s. She married Glenn Coleman in 1949; he died in 1965. In 1968, she married Orval D. Nelson; he died in 1969.
Survivors include her daughters, Midge Edwards of Salem and Clara Allen of Vancouver, Wash.; seven grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
The family suggests remembrances to Kaiser Permanente Hospice. Arrangements are by Canby Funeral Chapel.
