ANDERSON — James Clifford "Whitey" Blaylock, 86, of Anderson, died March 22, 2010, at Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie after an extended illness.

He was born March 10, 1924, in Monterey, Tenn., and had lived in Anderson for most of his life.

He retired in 1982 from Delco Remy Division of General Motors after 39 years of service. He was a member of UAW Local 662.

Survivors . . ..

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charley and Sally (Cunningham) Blaylock; and five brothers and sisters.

Visitation will be from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. on Friday at Robert D. Loose Funeral Home, 200 W. 53rd St.

Services will be 2:30 p.m. Friday, at the funeral home, with Tim Davis officiating.

Burial will be in Grovelawn Cemetery, Pendleton.
