"Richard Richie C. Learn, 21, of Lafayette Avenue, Palmerton, died early Wednesday, March 24, 2010, in Atlantic City, NJ. Born in Bethlehem, he was the son to Mitch C. and Lynn A. (Grossman) Learn. Richie had previously worked in the warehouse of the Elk Lighting Co., Nesquehoning. He was a 2007 graduate of the Palmerton High School. Richie was an avid baseball enthusiast, and later played softball for the Christian Churchman Softball League, Tamaqua. He enjoyed the outdoors, and loved to hunt.

Survivors: parents; sisters, Taylor P. Learn at home, Nina wife of Mike Graber of Telford, Crystal Young of Quakertown; paternal grandparents, Gene and Andrea (Leshko) Learn of Bethlehem; maternal grandparents, Lester and Veronica Grossman of Ironton, Julianne (Myers) Burger of Hellertown; maternal great-grandmother, Mrs. Helen Illeys of Bethlehem; aunts; uncles; and cousins.

Services: 11 a.m. Saturday, Campton Funeral Home, 525 Delaware Avenue, Palmerton, PA 18071. Call, 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday in funeral home.
