Mrs. Ruth (Allen) Seidelman, 75, of Oswego IL, died October 28, 1988 as a result of injuries of an auto accident in Oswego. She was born January 4, 1913 in Sadorus, Illinois.
Mrs. Seidelman worked for several years in the cafeteria of Houghton-Miffin, Geneva. She attended the Central Bible Church in Aurora, Illinois. She married Fred Seidelman, May 13, 1934 in Sandwich, Illinois and celebrated 54 years of marriage.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Donald (Connie) Scharbert of Aurora, Illinois; one granddaughter, Mrs. Steve (Wendy) Shick of Saginaw, Michigan; one grandson, Warren (Kris) Scharbert of Aurora; one great granddaughter, Kelly Scharbert; one great grandson, Todd Scharbert; one sister, Mrs. Howard (Nelda) Andrews of Tolono, Illinois; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. And Mrs. George Allen; three sisters, Irene Stephens McQuitty, Mae Mullins, and Pearl Kleinmeier; and five brothers, Burt Allen, Ellsworth Allen, Archie Allen, Charles Allen, and Dwight Allen.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 1, at 10 am at The Central Bible Church at 940 W. Galena Blvd., Aurora. The Rev. Lyle Ihde officiating. Burial at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Sandwich, IL.
Visitation will be Monday, October 31, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm at the McKeown-Dunn Funeral Home, Ltd., Oswego, IL. Memorials may be made to the Central Bible Church.
