George Christopher Heringer,
63, of Demossville, Ky., passed away on Saturday, April 17, 2004 at the St. Luke East Hospital in Ft. Thomas, Ky. Born on March 27, 1941, he was the son of the late Charles C. And Louise McLaughlin Herin-ger. He married Vonnie Rice on June 16, 1962, and his dear wife survives his passing. He was a member of the Grassy Creek Christian Church, he was preceded in death by his brother, Charles "Chuck" Heringer.
Additional survivors include: children, Gina (Clark) Swob-land, Grants Lick, Ky., Scott (Melissa) Heringer, Butler, Ky., five grandchildren, Dustin Bow-en, Kyle Bowen, Clay Swob-land, Blake Heringer, and Lilie Heringer, brothers, Joseph Her-inger, Florida, Jacob Heringer, Indianapolis, Alfred Heringer, South Lebanon, Ohio, sisters, Francis Wilson, Cold Spring, Ky., Mary Gosney, Rising Sun, Ind., Ruth Bowling, Butler, Ky.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. On Wednesday, April 21, 2004 at the Woodhead Funeral Home in Falmouth with Bro. Mike Flynn and Rev. Rick Johnson officiating. The visitation will take place on Tuesday evening from 5-9 p.m. At the Funeral Home. Pallbearers for the service will be Preston Rice, Gary Rice, John Rice, Kenny Rice, Dustin Bowen, Kyle Bowen, Blake Heringer, and Clay Swobland. Honorary pallbearers for the service will be Lilie Heringer, Bill Simon, Jason Utz, Bill Utz, and Paul Pfanstiel.
Interment will take place in the Gardnersville Cemetery.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
