Frank C. Barnes, 82, of 4300
Highway 63 N. , died early Saturday. He was
born Aug. 29, 1891, in Callaway County to
Frank D. and Frances Burnett Barnes.
He moved to Howard County with his
parents and lived there until 1943
when he moved to Columbia.
Mr. Barnes was married to Ella R. Baumgartner
on Jan. 25, 1925. He is survived by his wife
and a son, Billy Wayne Barnes, 1213 Smiley Lane.
Other survivors are two grandchildren, Frank
C. Barnes II and Kathy E. Barnes, and three
sisters, Mrs. L. H. Humfeld, Mrs. Henry S.
McBride and Mrs. Roy Griggs.
Services will be at 2 p.m.Monday with
the Rev. Oliver Langmade and the Rev.
Stanley Owen officiating.
Burial will be in Memorial Cemetery. Friends
may call at the Stuart P. Parker Funeral Home
after noon today.
