He had been a Claremont resident since 1906. He was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Men's Club and was a former member of the Red Men and the Knights of Pythias. He was employed for thirty years at Coy Paper Co, retiring in 1957.
He married Georgianna Jane Mosher on December 22, 1921 in Hartford, VT who preceded him in death.
Surviving are five nieces Myrtle Weed of Claremont, Jennie Welch of West Lebanon, NH, Beatrice Marsh and Bernice Lizotte both of Camp Verde, AZ, and Arlene Hatch of Claremont.
Burial is in Mtn View cemetery.
