She moved to Claremont, NH and graduated from Stevens High School in 1910. She spent eight years at the Perkins Institute for the Blind as a music director. She also taught private piano lessons for more than fifty years. She was organist and choir director for several local churches for many years. She was a member of the United Methodist Church and it's Women's Society, the Business and Professional Women's Club, the Woodman Chapter No 26 Order of the Eastern Star for more than seventy years. She was the oldest Stevens Alumni Association member.
She married Perley White on August 4, 1915 in Claremont who preceded her in death.
She leaves two daughters Mary Franklin of Claremont and Margaret Wilson of Riverside, CA [died 2009]; son Francis White of Lancaster, PA; seven grandsons; one granddaughter; and nine great grandchildren.
Burial is in Mtn View Cemetery.
