MEREDITH- The funeral for Francis P. Coyle,74, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Meredith Roman Catholic Church, the Rev. Raymond Pachta officiating.
Mr. Coyle, a longtime farmer in the Meredith area, died Wednesday at Asbury Hospital, Salina, where he had been a patient for 13 days. He was born Feb. 23, 1899, at Macyville, a now deserted village south of Concordia.
Besides farming, he also worked 10 years for the Kansas Highway Department.
Surviving is a son, Francis William (Bill) 836 Hancock, Salina, and 4 granchildren,
The Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Friday at the Phelps Funeral Home, Miltonvale.
Burial will be in St. Peters' Cemetery, Meredith.
