Services for James D. Vasbinder, 85, of 342 Chicago Blvd., a former trail driver, were held at Akers Funeral Chapel. Mr. Vasbinder had lived in San Antonio for nearly 40 years. He was a member of First Baptist Church and the Old Trail Drivers Association. He drove from the King Ranch to Dodge City, Kansas in 1884 and again in 1885. Survived by two daughters; two brothers; two sisters ; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
