Service Conducted Friday Afternoon from the Residence of Mrs. W.B. Ramsay - Interment at Ebenezer Church. The funeral service for Mr. A.G. Kirkpatrick was held Friday afternoon at 1 o'clock from the residence of his sister, Mrs. W.B. Ramsay. Interment was in the cemetery at Ebenezer church, near Charlotte. The funeral service here was conducted by Dr. C.E. Raynal, assisted by Dr. C.M. Richards, of Davidson, and Dr. E.D. Brown.
The service at the cemetery was in charge of the Hickory Masonic lodge, and the benediction was pronounced by Dr. G.R. White, minister of the Associate Reformed Presbyterian church. Dr. White was pastor of Ebenezer church which Mr. Kirkpatrick, attended as a boy, and baptized Mr. Kirkpatrick.
During the funeral service there was music by the Mitchell College choral club, who sang "How Firm a Foundation." At the close of the service college students formed an aisle from the home to the street, and through this aisle the casket was carried to the hearse. The flowers were unusually beautiful, and were carried by members of the faculty of Mitchell College. Among a large number of relatives and friends attending the funeral were Rev. and Mrs. W.B. Lindsay, Col. and Mrs. T.L. Kirkpatrick, Mrs. James Sloan, Mrs. John Grier, Mr. Roy Terrell, Mrs. H.D. Kirkpatrick, Mr. and Mrs. L.A.
