Lila Annis Bugg was the daughter of Lon Jackson Bugg and Mary Ida Elizabeth Hayes Bugg. She married Albert Mitchell Maness on January 27, 1934. Three children were born from their marriage: Nancy Ruth, Opal Louise, and James Hugh Maness. Lila and her husband owned and operated a dairy business.
