Edna married Alfred H. Shultz. They lived in Girton for several years and in Fostoria. They had three children: Amandus, Evelyn, and Charlotte.
Both Edna and Alfred enjoyed art as a hobby--an interest that would appear in subsequent generations of their family as well.
Edna died in an auto accident when the family was returning home from a Florida vacation. They were sideswiped by the driver of a stolen car. Her husband and children were also injured; one of them, seriously.
