Born in Williamstown, Aug. 3, 1908, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Roceila Miller Keene.
She was a 1927 graduate of the former Williamstown High School.
She was a lifelong resident of Tower City, where she was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing, knitting, gardening and being with her friends.
She was an accomplished pianist, who played for the silent movies of the 1920s.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph, in 1969; sisters, Eva Straub, in 1989, and Jenny Klinger, in 1994; and a brother, Frank Keene, 1974.
Surviving are her son, Robert Spengler; a grandson; and a great-granddaughter, all of Palmyra.
Funeral services were held Tuesday from the Chapel of Dimon Funeral Homes Inc., Tower City. Interment was in Greenwood Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Lebanon Valley Brethren Home, 1200 Grubb St., Palmyra, PA 17078, or Hospice of Central PA, 17101 Linglestown Road, Harrisburg, PA 17110.
