Albert J. Seidelman, 66 of Oswego passed away Friday, April 18, 1997 at Copley Memorial Hospital. He was born August 19, 1930 in Aurora, Illinois.
He was very devoted to his family, children and grandchildren. He was a member of St. Anne Church in Oswego. He served in the Navy in the Korean Conflict. He retired from Navistar International in West Chicago in April of 1993. He was a member of the American Legion Post #84.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Mary (Anderson) Seidelman of Oswego; two daughters, Linda (Dennis) Petry of Oswego, Deborah (Joe) Strausberger of Montgomery; a son Michael (Linda) Seidelman of Naperville; eight grandchildren, Eric, Bryan, Matthew and katie Petry, Nathan, Kristina and Amanda Strausberger and Stephanie Seidelman; a brother, Donald Seidelman; an uncle Joseph (Julia) Vanjoske; a brother-in-law Frank Anderson and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary (Vanjoske) and Albert Seidelman Sr. and a brother Robert Seidelman.
Funeral from the Daleiden Lake Street Mortuary Tuesday, April 22, 1997 at 9:30 am to St. Anne Church at 10:00 am Father Dan Stempora will officiate with interment at St. Joseph Cemetery.
Visitation will be Monday from 2 til 9 pm with a rosary to be recited at 7:30 pm at the Daleiden Lake Street Mortuary, 220 N. Lake Street, Aurora. 630-898-8634.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association or the American Cancer Society.
