ZEBULON – Lyndell Rose Pearce McPhail, 86, died Monday. She was born in Franklin County to the late Zollie & Bertha Gay Pearce. She was an elementary school teacher for 43 years in various school systems. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Harvey McPhail.

She is survived by nieces & nephews, Miriam Carver (Tim) of Greensboro, Sharon Blinson of Youngsville, Mike Moore of Zebulon, Ronald Matthews (Sherry) of Massanutten, VA, Charles Matthews (Yvonne) of Four Oaks, dear friends, Ray & Lynn Massey, several great nieces and nephews.
