Hutchinson News, Hutchinson, KS, May 9, 1982: Mrs. Everett Brewer. Jetmore - Lille Mae Brewer, 88, died May 8, 1982, at Hodgeman County Health Center, Jetmore, after a short illness. Born Lillie Abel Sept. 8, 1898, in Orange County, Ind., she married Roy Sorem June 17, 1926, at Hoisington. He died July 20, 1947. She married Everett Brewer April 20, 1953, at Jetmore. He died May 26, 1974. She was a retired teacher and Jetmore resident since 1923. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, Order of the Eastern Star, Friday Afternoon Study Club, Delta Kappa Gamma Sorority and Area Agency on Aging, all of Jettmore. Survivors: son, Jim Sorem, Jetmore; stepson Eugene Brewer, Florida; daughter, Rowena Wilson, Jetmore; stepdaughter, Eileen Brewer, Los Angeles; brother, Edgar, Denver; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the church; the Rev. Franklin Williams. Burial at Fairmount Cemetery, Jetmore. Friends may call from 1 until 9 p.m. Sunday at Burkhard Funeral Home, Jetmore. Memorials to the church.
