Services for Robert Lee "Bob" Armstrong, 63, of Lubbock, TX, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 27, 2010, in the Genesis Baptist Church, Lubbock, with Rev. Roger Garrett officiating. Services are under the direction of Abell Funeral Home and Flower Shop of Abernathy.

Bob died Tuesday, March 23, 2010, in Albuquerque, NM.

He was born on Oct. 27, 1946 at Marshall, Texas and graduated from Lubbock High School in 1965. He served in the US Marine Corps for 10 years, part of which was in Vietnam. He was employed as a truck driver and was an avid bowler.

He was preceded in death by his father, Albert Armstrong; and a brother Edwin.

He is survived by three children, Kimberly Armstrong, Jennifer Springer and Kristopher Armstrong; mother, Irene Brantley; three brothers, Roy and Daryl Armstrong and Leslie Thompson; and five grandchildren.
