MELVIN CLINTON GRAY

Melvin Clinton Gray, 81, died Thursday, December 17 in Ada. He was born December 27, 1905 in Grand Saline, TX. He was married to Effie Shrum, May 23, 1925 in Sulphur. She preceded him in death in 1982.

Gray was affiliated with the Pentecostal Holiness Church. He was a retired service station owner. He was raised in Texas and moved to Sulphur at the age of sixteen.

Survivors include two daughters and one son, Lou Ann Bonham and Paul Gray, both live in Sulphur; two brothers; one sister; eight grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son in 1977.

Rev. Bob Woodward conducted the services with interment at Oaklawn Cemetery. Clagg Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
