Mr. Black died at 7 p.m. Saturday at his home.
He worked at the Tappan Stove Co. in Murray and was a laborer in the chicken industry.
Surviving are his wife, Margie Evelyn Black; two sons, Kenneth Glen Black of Farmington and Darryl Black of Mayfield; one daughter, Donna Black Allen of Mayfield; three brothers, Robert Neal Black and Carvis Black, both of Clinton, and Elwood Black of Washington; three sisters, Mary Page of Mayfield, Katie Bell Collins of Clinton, and Mapelle Greer of Mississippi; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by four brothers. His parents were Lester and Lillie Orr Black.
