Luanne E. {Johnson} Adams, 44, of Surprise, Arizona, formerly of Stephenson, Michigan passed away Monday, August 1, 2005 following 1-1/2 year battle with cancer. Luanne was born July 6, 1961 to Elizabeth Johnson and the late Fred R. Johnson in Menominee, Michigan. She was a 1979 graduate of Stephenson High School. Luanne married Timothy Adams on September 9, 1987 at the Charleston Naval Base, South Carolina. She worked in clothing retail then in later years as a homemaker and mother. Luanne enjoyed traveling, interior decorating, and arts and crafts with Fungshi Design.
Luanne is survived by her mother, Elizabeth, husband Tim, one daughter, Elizabeth, at home; one sister, Anita Johnson, all of Surprise, Arizona; one brother, Andrew {Chris} Johnson of Shawano, Wisconsin; twin nephews, Jordan and Zachary White and niece and nephews, Blake, Kelley, Eric and Aaron Johnson. Visitation for Luanne was Thursday, August 4, 2005 at Anderson Diehm Funeral Home in Stephenson, Michigan, 906-753-2274 from 5:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. Funeral was Friday at 1:00 p.m. at the St. Stephen Lutheran Church Stephenson, Michigan. Burial was in the Stephenson Township Cemetery, Reverend David Christenson officiating.
